I drove 40 minutes to Grandma's house this evening for a little vacation. It's always nice to get away, and Grandma is amazing. On the way there, I had intended to listen to the "Cantina Mariachi" CD that I got at Dollar Tree but I happened to put in a CD of childrens' church music and hymns instead. It was so much more fulfilling to listen to and to sing along with than whatever I usually listen to. I was filled with more peace and strength.
I've decided to learn all the words to a new church song each week. It's going to be great!

what a great idea, i want to learn the words to a song, too. probably a lot of them will be Primary songs. we frequently listen to the primary songs all day long at our house. it invites a nice spirit and i think that parker will benefit from hearing them in the background.
